In this role you will be working for Valor Hospitality Europe which is part of a leading US hotel management company with 17 properties in the UK and exciting expansion plans to add more hotels.

Main Duties:

The Meetings & Events Sales Manager role involves a range of duties, including: ensuring Conference & Events business targets (including conference rooms) for revenue, occupancy and profit are achieved to budget. You will be proactive in seeking leads, converting them into sales and developing lasting relationships with all conference and events bookers thereby ensuring we generate repeat business. Additionally you will ensure weekly event schedules are collated, produced, distributed and communicated to all hotel departments so that on the day all our customers have a memorable event. You will assist the Revenue Manager in forecasting, training and coaching fellow colleagues.

Previous experience

The successful applicant must have previous experience in meetings and events sales administration preferably in a hotel/hospitality environment. You will have experience in supervising and training others to meet targets. Working in an administration and sales role, you will be computer literate, be able to manage changing priorities and workloads in a fast paced environment and be calm under pressure always delivering a high level of customer service. You will be able to work flexible hours on any day of the week.
