With 283 rooms, our stylish riverside hotel is conveniently situated alongside the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) the perfect location for those who enjoy working in the vibrant City of Glasgow.
The hotel hosts a mixture of leisure guests, those on business and those attending a meeting or celebration for up to 800 people, which our team organise with clockwork precision.
Our guests can stay energised with a visit to our Fitness Centre, wind down in the onsite heated pool, steam room and sauna or enjoy a delicious steak at the 'Mariner Restaurant' with views of the River Clyde. This contemporary hotel is a great place to work!

With 164 rooms, our stylish riverside hotel is conveniently situated alongside the SSE Hydro Arena, the perfect location for those who enjoy working in the vibrant City of Glasgow.
The hotel hosts a mixture of leisure guests, those on business and those attending a meeting or celebration for up to 100 guests, which our team organise with clockwork precision.
Our guests can stay energised with a visit to our Fitness Centre and enjoy a relaxed meal in our newly refurbished 'Recess' restaurant. This contemporary hotel is a great place to work!

In this role you will be working for Valor Hospitality Europe which is part of a leading US hotel management company with 17 properties in the UK and exciting expansion plans to add more hotels.

Main Duties:

The Dual Site Financial Controller role involves a range of duties, including the responsibility for the finance department ensuring accurate management and financial period end accounts are produced within company timelines. Working with the General Managers and Department Managers you will deliver commercial business objectives and financial targets and ensure company accounting procedures are followed at all times. With an in depth knowledge of all areas of finance including budgeting, forecasting, revenues, cost controls, credit control, payroll you will be involved in all areas of accounts. You will provide guidance and support to Department Managers to develop their financial awareness as well as your own finance team whilst ensuring the purpose, brand values and behaviours are delivered on every occasion.

Previous experience

The successful applicant must have previous experience as a Financial Controller in a similar establishment. With all round proven experience in finance, including budgeting, forecasting and production of period end accounts, the successful applicant will be able to communicate at all levels, have effective team leadership skills and be able to work flexible hours.
