Main Duties: Meetings & Events (Several Vacancies)

The Meetings and Events Assistant role involves a range of duties, including: ensuring conference and events rooms are set up to a high standard according to guest requirements before they arrive, servicing the rooms during their event and being ready to help to make sure the event runs smoothly on the day. You’ll also serve food and drinks as and when required. From syndicate rooms to conferences, exhibitions private parties/dinners and weddings you will ensure all of our guests receive efficient, professional and friendly service at all times.

Main Duties: Restaurant, The Lock (Several Vacancies)

The Food and Beverage Assistant role involves a range of duties, including; the service of food dishes and drinks from our hotel menus, preparing the restaurant and service areas for service, lay up and clearing of tables, giving attentive customer focused service to our customers during their meal ensuring that our customers have a great dining experience through efficient service. The Food and Beverage Assistant will have full understanding of our dishes and the ability to upsell, delivering great customer service; whilst ensuring the brand values and standards are delivered.

Previous experience

The successful applicant should ideally have previous experience in customer service preferably in a hospitality related role, be able to work flexible hours on a shift basis on any day of the week. An aptitude for attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative while maintaining a cheerful disposition is required. However, if you have the right attitude, we can provide you with the skills for the role.
